| Celebrities made appearances at USO shows in the Korean theater of operation, as well as in Japan and
other neighboring South Pacific islands during the Korean War. Meanwhile, stateside Korean War veterans had
their pictures snapped with celebrities on formal and informal occasions. If any of our readers have a
celebrity photograph to share on this page of the Korean War Educator website, we will post it with a credit
line to the sender. The picture(s) must be fairly clear, and whenever possible we would like the names of
the persons seen in the photo. Photos taken in Korea of USO shows should depict the show participants.
Celebrity photos taken elsewhere during the Korean War must include an identified Korean War veteran in the
