		Yesensky, Paul W.
		
			Paul W. Yesensky, 80, of Williamstown, died Wednesday (April 25, 
			2012) at his home with his family by his side. Paul was born in 
			Glassport, Pennsylvania on February 2, 1933. 
			He joined the Army in 1949 at age 16 and went to Japan with the 
			Occupation Forces in 1951 when the Korean War started. He was one of 
			the first American Troops in Korea. He was so proud to have served 
			with the 5th Regimental Combat Team with the 24th Infantry Division. 
			He was severely wounded on the 13th of October 1951. After eight 
			weeks in a hospital in Japan, Paul returned to the States and 
			re-enlisted in the Air Force in Des Moines, Iowa. He was elected 
			National President of the 5th RCT Association of Korean War 
			Veterans. 
			Paul and his wife, Joan, founded The Greenhouse Effect in 
			Williamstown. They produced flowers and vegetables for display and 
			sale at the Regional Market and Paul served on the board of 
			directors for the New York State Regional Market Authority. 
			He was the past commander of the American Legion Post #1832, a 
			former officer in the VFW Post #3146 both in Mattydale, and a life 
			member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was president of the 
			APW School District Sports Boosters and a Little League coach in 
			Pulaski for three years. 
			Paul is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Joan (MacCall); 
			their four children: Robert (Marianne) Yesensky of Tennessee, 
			Stephen (Lisa) Yesensky of Pulaski, Paul Yesensky of Rome, and Debra 
			(Roger) Williams of Camden; his five granddaughters: Melinda 
			Yesensky of Camden, Kristen (Jason) Beckwith of Amboy, Amanda and 
			Jessica Yesensky, both of Pulaski, and Audrey Yesensky of Tennessee; 
			two grandsons: Stephen P. Yesensky of Pulaski and Tony Yesensky of 
			Tennessee; and one great-grandson, Brecken Paul Beckwith.  
			At Paul's request, there will be no calling hours and his burial 
			will be private and at the convenience of his family. A memorial 
			service will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 11 a.m. in 
			Williamstown Church of Christ, 1 Grant Road, Williamstown, NY 13493.  
			In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Paul's memory to the 
			Syracuse VA Hospital, 800 Irving Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210. 
		 
		Yosich, George M.
		
			George M. Yosich, CSM (Ret), of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away 
			October 23, 2010 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was born October 
			3, 1928 in Newark, New Jersey. 
			He was survived by his loving Wife Fior Yosich; five children, Jo 
			Means (Don), Donna Jean Presley (Will), Tina Price, Michael George 
			Yosich and Liz Holland (Leo); also two Grandchildren, Travis Holland 
			(Keely) and Ashley Price; Sister Julie Zubak (Steve); Nephew, Rick 
			Zubak (Lorelie), Sherry Bean (Robert), Robert Yosich (Renee); 
			cousin, JR Yovannvich (June); two Grand-nephews and two 
			Grand-nieces. 
			George retired as a Command Sergeant Mayor of the US Army in 
			Special Forces Green Berets, Airborne for 28 years. He was an 
			"original" member of Special Forces having joined the 10th SFG at 
			Fort Bragg. He also served with the 8240th AU (UNPFK) in Korea, and 
			was subsequently assigned to the 2d Partisan Infantry Regiment, Kan 
			Wa Do Island, South Korea. His medals included the Purple Heart. 
			George was a kind- hearted, easy going, adorable Husband, Father 
			and friend. He has friends all over the world and continued making 
			more even to the end. Anyone who got to meet him loved him. He 
			always had a smile and a hand shake to offer. He was always 
			available to anyone who needed him. His quote, “there aren’t any 
			strangers, it’s just haven’t met them yet.” He will forever be in 
			our hearts; family and friends both.  He will continue to in us 
			all, and he has left a mark in all of us that he has touched. 
			Honorable service will be held at Florida National Cemetery in 
			Bushnell, Florida.
