My grandfather served in the Korean War and he was part of the National Coast Guard 378th Combat
Battalion. He would like some more information regarding his service and would like somebody to talk
to about it. His name is Richard Paul Real. He served in Korea from 1951-52 as a squad leader
in the 3rd squad. He said that some of the names he remembers are Charles Rush, Jack Hudson, Antonio
Alvarez, Bob Harrmon, Gene Hucks, Nathaniel Johnson and Melvin Gaines.
